This is a milestone – my first official media library album.
I have been composing music for most of my life, released albums in various genres, and have dozens of tracks on YouTube, Spotify and other streaming services. You can listen to Intimate Piano Narratives on those services, but it is also available for sync licensing from Amadea Music Productions.

I’ve discovered that this term isn’t familiar to most people outside the music industry.
Let’s say you’re making a film, commercial or video game. Music is an integral part of any video project. It creates the atmosphere and can affect how scenes and dialogue are understood by the audience. There are two legal and ethical ways to find music for your project.
- Hire a composer to write music that fits each scene.
- Go to a media library and search for the right music.
In a media library you will find music in every style. You can search using a variety of keywords – instruments, mood, tempo, etc., and describe exactly what you’re looking for. Therefore it’s not as daunting as it sounds.
?What is sync licensing
In short, sync licensing is a license to synchronize music to your project.
Once a song is uploaded to a streaming service, anyone can listen to it as many times as they’d like. But if you want to use it as part of a video project, you must get a sync license and pay for the right to use it. Just as directors, screenwriters, actors and other professionals, if you are making money from a project, some of that will go to those whose services make it possible.
