Who am I?

Hello,

My name is Kara Aharon, and I’m a musician

I began playing the piano at the age of 5, so music is like a second language to me. Maybe even a first language, a mother tongue. A universal language in which I communicate with music lovers everywhere. Over the years I have enhanced my “vocabulary” and my ability to communicate. I’ve played in bands, sung in choirs, after learning classical piano as a child added pop, jazz, musicals, Israeli songs and more. I learned to arrange music and developed my favorite style: improvisation.

I believe in combining music and creativity, leading people of all ages to new experiences and discoveries about the world and themselves. I believe that once we are introduced to a world with no boundaries, we develop self-confidence, creative thinking and independence.

My musical style reflects me and the path my life has taken. Difficult to define, from the heart, full of improvisation, unusual and surprising harmonies. A combination of jazz, blues and rock influenced by Broadway and Israeli music – everything I have listened to and played throughout my life. Personal songs, songs based on biblical sources, and instrumental music that expresses loneliness and optimism.
