This month’s release is bluesy piano. The kind of music playing in the background when the bartender says “You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here.” Which basically explains the title.
I actually composed “Late Night Blues” a couple of years ago. It was written while sitting at my baby grand piano, the only way to write and play music like this. To record it I took it down to the studio. At the time I just put it on YouTube with a clip, because that’s the phase I was in.
Now that I’ve started releasing music regularly, I felt that this piece was worthy of distribution. I made a few changes, slowing it down a bit and adding some improvisation
The video
Most of the video is stock footage, found by searching for “night” and “music”. I also added some video from the studio, giving it the same vibe.
Found among the drafts
After all that, I never hit “publish” on the post. Probably because the following link wasn’t ready. Today, as I begin planning my next release, I asked myself “Did I write a blog post on last month’s song?” The answer was no.
איזו מוזיקה מקסימה את יוצרת! יישר כח!
תודה, כיף לי לשמוע.
Nice. I like the vibe, Kara!
Thank you Mitch
